kanye leaked →
get it while you can, giving it a first listen now. links are down, buy the album Nov. 24th.
my initial review:
the kanye album is like a great sketch. the concept, production, melodies and art direction are amazing. The concept of minimalism is apparent through out all and is very impressive. If only he brought in a real song-writer and some more real singers, this album would have been genius....
looks pretty dope. thx c.
For Miami...
My favorite gallery in LA is going to be at the internationally acclaimed Art Basel Miami Fair from December 4-7. They will be exhibiting new work from some of their represented artists at Aqua Art Miami located at the Aqua Hotel. New work on hand will include artists: Blaine Fontana, Alexandros Vasmoulakis, Yoskay Yamamoto, David O’Brien, Tessar Lo, Matt Hansel, Nate Frizzell, Jennifer...
First snow... for me.
It was only a light snow but I’ll take it.
At SFO part II
I love sitting next to douchebags who love to hear themselves talk. It is awesome.
At SFO this AM...
and I had watch a dude my age dig into his nostril with his finger. Sad part is the guy looks very clean cut and well dressed with $140 shoes on. Lovely.
I'm off to NYC
I’ll be in town for a couple of weeks, get at me. Chances are, if we are close, you already know I’m coming into town. Here is a pic of what I plan to be doing while in NY, hanging with my girls R, G, and B from the ’70s:

me: ok so the male lead singer of sneaker pimps has now started a solo thing called IAMX: http://www.myspace.com/iamx
khary: that's a very gay photo.
me: yeah. he was always the writer song maker of sneaker pimps i think.
khary: interesting.
me: don't think i'll be coppin this record, LOL. its all too... theatrical? hahaha.
khary: yeah, he had me at the first record, but the second one is... reminding me of a broadway musical.
me: word. just found a house remix of one his tracks and it is gay in it it's own way, but sounds better. hahaha.
khary: hahaha "gay in it's own way."
me: not broadway gay, but glow stick and hot pants gay.
khary: HAHAHA
me: that should be on a fucking tee.
khary: I was just going to say that.
me: hahaha
khary: aight, I need lunch.
House Industries Show in LA →
Link above, too bad I did not know about this, there were like a million openings this past weekend.
overheard in san francisco...
“West coast people have ruined my standards” (in the most socal valley girl voice you can imagine)
shopping for CDs?
I went to Amoeba (a big music store in Cali) and I felt weird, like I was in an alternate reality. I really feel like the medium of CDs is dead but even the smallest groups still print up CDs. I just felt like I was in a different world today, waiting in line and looking thru the racks, I know it was my reality not to long ago, but it still felt awkward. I wonder what it is like for kids who grew...
Andrea Crews
